I argue that a Cashless Society, ought to be both a philosophical aspiration of humanity first and in fact human values based innovations and leadership and ultimately, a technocratic realization of that dream. Technology, thus to me, is a tool for progress towards a better society and identity or social, cultural and economic representation, plays a big part of that.
We seem to be at disagreement here, failing to even agree to foundational ethical standards and values that can be embedded in a foundational AI layer and inspire future ethical innovations.
The argument against government tracking is almost moot since cash, at least via banks and other mechanisms, is already tracked. What is not tracked, perhaps, is the complexity of the transactions (i.e what service was rendered to earn the cash such as bribes and illegal trade) leading to the reported cash exchange but the “follow the money” claim has gained its meaning from this ease of traceability.

Hard to take any writer seriously who doesn’t understand ‘mute’ vs ‘moot’. Can we expect the rest of this book to be similarly grammatically illiterate?
